Return to Chivay for lunch, passing through a few local villages along the way such as Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches, as well as the viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque, with the breathtaking valley terraces and pre-Inca tombs. Make your way back to Arequipa at 13:00 pm, arriving there around 16:00 to 17:00 pm.
Important: This is a sightseeing tour - you will mostly explore the Colca Canyon by bus. No trekking is included in the canyon.
Suggestions for Colca Canyon: The highest point of the trip is 4,910m and on average the other locations are approx. 3,800m. If you feel sick, it is a good idea to drink plenty of coca tea, chew coca candies or take altitude sickness medicine such as Sarochi or Diamox in extreme cases.
Note: As you will come back to your departure point, please ONLY BRING the necessary material & clothes during the tour.
