Itinerary

5 Day Thoddoo Getaway

Day 1

Arrive Male International Airport where you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your speedboat transfer to your local island in North Ari Atoll. The speedboat takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach Thoddoo.

Days 2-3

Breakfast. Complimentary use of snorkeling equipment at guesthouse and unlimited use of Kayak or SUP at watersports centre (subject to availability).

Day 4

Breakfast. Complimentary use of snorkeling equipment at guesthouse.

Day 5

Breakfast. Following breakfast, you will transfer by speedboat to Male and on to Male International Airport or your onward destination.

Ramadan

Ramadan will take place during the period of 07 February - 08 March 2027, and might affect services within this package.

Important Note on Local Islands

Local islands are very different from the picture-perfect resort images you may have seen. These are living and working island communities, where daily life is shaped by Islam, family, and in today’s world, tourism. You’ll hear the call to prayer five times a day. On islands closer to Male, you will notice ongoing construction and development for both island infrastructure and new guesthouses or hotels. Every island has its own unique character and charm, offering something different in terms of culture, community, and natural environment.

Local transport

Arrive in Male International Airport, and our local guide will guide you from there.

Please note that:
Your arrival and departure will only be on a speedboat.
Speedboat departs Male: Every day 10:00/16:00 hours daily, except Friday when it departs at 15:00 only.
Speedboat departs Thoddoo: Every day 07:00/13:00 hours daily, except Friday when it departs 07:00/14:00.
Journey Time: 2 Hours

Additional info

The Maldives is a Muslim country and therefore care needs to be taken with regard to the dress code on the local islands. While it is acceptable for men to wear t-shirts and shorts or swim shorts, women should maintain a more conservative approach by wearing t-shirts, loose shorts or sarongs. The islands we visit are more tolerant of guests wearing traditional beachwear, however, women should avoid wearing bikinis and swimsuits on more public beaches. During the local island tours, where we may have access to mosques and family homes, shoulders and thighs should be covered out of respect for local customs.
