Maximum group size for the Spanish classes is 6.

In the popular subtropical Baños we offer Spanish classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. Our classes will be given by professional teachers, who are very passionate about the Spanish language and the Ecuadorian culture and they will be very happy to share their knowledge with you. The classes will take place at the very nice and cozy hostel where you will be staying at.

Joining our Spanish classes will enable you to gain a true local insight into the Ecuadorian culture and traditions, while learning the necessary vocabulary and grammar to be able to communicate better with the locals and in your volunteer project, if you have also chosen to volunteer. Making your time in Ecuador more interesting and meaningful.

Our program is aimed to offer you a the skills to have a real immersive experience.

Itinerary

If you choose the Arrival Package, we will pick you up from the airport or bus station on Saturday in Quito, and your first nights’ accommodation is included. A private arrival transfer from Quito to Banos is included. Lessons start on Monday, so you have Sunday to relax or check out the neighbourhood.

You will receive 20 hours of group lessons per week**. On Monday you will meet your teacher and companions at the hostel and you will start this fun learning process. Your classes are scheduled 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday. During your stay will also have 2 extra activities: a half day Bike Tour and a half day Canopy bridge! Your teacher will also share with you tips about all the great places to visit in Baños for eating, drinking and dancing.

**In case there are no other students learning Spanish you will receive 16 hours of private lessons.

Your lessons can be tailored to your wishes or follow the textbook, depending on your Spanish level.

Banos is the adventure capital of South America. There are almost unlimited options for those who love outdoor activities.

Some of your options (not included) are:
- The Casa del Arbol, swing from a tree over an epic cliff
- Visit the spectacular waterfall “Pailón del Diablo”
- Relax in the natural thermal baths and hot springs
- White Water Rafting
- Zip lining and obstacle course
- Hanging bridges
- Explore on bikes, rent a quad or small jeeps - anything goes

Accommodation in Quito with the Arrival Package
Your first night is in a centrally located hostel.

Accommodation in Banos
You will be staying in a very nice and cozy hostel, centrally located and with a very nice staff. Their goal is to make you feel the hostel is your second home; that is the reason why so many people return year after year. It offers shared rooms with breakfast included. The hostel reception is open 24 hours and there is a concierge and a luggage storage space; the place also has a rooftop terrace, a café, free WIFI and a pool!

This program is available with or without an Arrival Package in Quito, that includes private transfer from the airport to accommodation in Quito, and transfer from your accommodation to the busstation in Quito. Max 2 passengers are permitted in each vehicle.

How to get to Banos
Local bus from Quito to Banos is about 4 hours and costs around $7 (ticket not included). Upon arrival in Baños, you can take a taxi to the hostel that costs around $2 (not included).

Self-catering. Meals are not included.
