Backpacker Ha Long to Ninh Binh to Hue Adventure

Today, you will hop on a bus to Ninh Binh, a destination famous for the relics of the ancient capital city in Hoa Lu and the breath-taking landscape often dubbed as "Ha Long Bay on Land". A variety of beautiful landscapes await that will not disappoint you! Make sure your phone is charged cos you’re going to need it!   
Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and spend the rest of the day exploring at your leisure.

Today, we will take a sampan tour through lush rice fields and rocky outcrops and visit Trang An Scenic Complex - a land of several mysteriously deep lakes, another UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed since 2014. Then, we will depart to visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You will have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty. After having lunch, get ready as we will take a short hike to the Mua Cave Mountain where you can have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here. Return to your hotel afterward, with the evening free to explore at your leisure.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time by the pool and make the most of the peaceful atmosphere before checking out. At around 20:00 get transferred to the bus station for an overnight bus to Hue – a historic city in central Vietnam, known as the former imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Arrive in Hue early in the morning and head to the hotel to drop our bags, then start our adventure with a pickup at around 08:00, then head to the boat station for a peaceful dragon boat cruise along the scenic Perfume River. Your first stop is the historic Thien Mu Pagoda, followed by a visit to the Imperial Citadel, where you can explore the grandeur of the Nguyen dynasty. Continue to Dong Ba Market to experience local life and browse unique souvenirs. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is yours free to explore.
