Montevideo and Colonia, Uruguay (3 nights)

Arrival in Montevideo airport, Carrasco. Regular transfer to accommodation. Check in and free time.

Morning pick up (about 08:00) from your accommodation to do a Montevideo City Tour. A minivan will take you to the most important landmarks of the city to be able to enjoy and take pictures. You will visit places like Plaza de la Independencia where you can see the Puerta de la Ciudadela, the Teatro Solis, the Torre Ejecutiva, the Estevez Palace, the Salvo palace and the monument to the greatest Uruguayan hero: Jose Gervasio Artigas. Afterwards, the van will tour the main avenue of the city: 18 de Julio, to head to the National Parliament. The tour will also visit the Mercado Agricola de Montevideo (Market) that works inside a historic building and offers a wide range of local food products. The next stop will be the Jose Batlle y Ordoñez Park where you will be able to see the Centenario football stadium. The tour will then head to the Rambla de Pocitos (an avenue and park along the Rio de la Plata river). After the tour, you will be dropped off at your accommodation. The trip lasts about 3 hours and Spanish, English and Portuguese are spoken.

Check out and make your own way to the 3 Cruces bus station to take the bus to Colonia del Sacramento. After a 3-hour ride, arrive and walk to your accommodation. The rest of the days is your to enjoy as you wish.
