Day 1
YOUR ADVENTURE BEGINS - BANGKOK
We’ll meet you at the airport and take you to the guesthouse to meet your group!
Day 2
TEMPLES & TUK TUKS - BANGKOK
Cruise the canals by long-tail boat, explore temples, ride in a tuk tuk, then experience the crazy nightlife!
Small Change: Experience the spiritual heart of Bangkok on a temple day guided by local experts.
Day 3
THAI COOKING CLASS - BANGKOK
Experience a traditional Thai cooking class and then board the overnight train.
Small Change: Immerse yourself in Thai culture with a cooking class led by a local chef.
Day 4
FLOATING BUNGALOWS - KHAO SOK
Arrive in Khao Sok National Park. Go tubing, kayaking and sleep overnight in floating bungalows!
Day 5
TROPICAL PARADISE - KOH PHANGAN
Arrive on the beautiful island of Koh Phangan, relax by the pool and enjoy your first island sunset and beach party!
Day 6
BEACH TIME & MASSAGE - KOH PHANGAN
A day to unwind and relax before being pampered with a Thai massage.
Day 7
ISLAND TOUR - KOH PHANGAN
Discover the beauty of the island as we travel to some of the beautiful beaches! Chill, soak up some sun and then kick back with a beach BBQ!
Day 8
MUAY THAI OR YOGA - KOH PHANGAN
Today you have the choice of learning Muay Thai boxing or Yoga.
Small Change: Step into Thailand’s martial arts heritage with a Muay Thai lesson led by world champion Master Chin.
Day 9
ARRIVE IN PHI PHI - PHI PHI
You’ll arrive in Phi Phi late afternoon to check into your guesthouse and head out for dinner, drinks and a beach party!
Day 10
PHI PHI EXPERIENCE - PHI PHI
Boat trip around Phi Phi Leh to snorkel, kayak, see an underwater light show at night and enjoy a few drinks and dinner under the stars.
Day 11
PHI PHI BOAT TRIP - PHI PHI
Hike to Phi Phi’s viewpoint and then explore Phi Phi’s Paradise Islands by boat.
Day 12
CHILL OUT IN PHUKET - PHI PHI
This morning we'll take a ferry to Phuket, before having a chill afternoon and enjoying the sunset.
Day 13
FLY TO CHIANG MAI - CHIANG MAI
This morning we'll fly to the culturally diverse capital of northern Thailand - Chiang Mai. Checking in to our accommodation, we’ll have time to explore the city, chill by the pool or do some shopping. Tonight we'll check out Chiang Mai's night markets.
Day 14
TEMPLES, WATERFALLS AND A LOCAL FARM - CHIANG MAI
Today is a full day trip exploring the culture and natural wonders of Chiang Mai. First up is the iconic Doi Suthep Temple followed by Thai style lunch on local fish farm before visiting the fascinating ‘sticky’ waterfalls
Small Change: Discover the beauty of Doi Suthep temple with a local guide, gaining insights into its history and significance in Buddhist culture.
Day 15
HILL TRIBE TREK - CHIANG MAI
Trek through and stay overnight in the amazing jungle of Chiang Mai. Wander through beautiful rice paddy fields, see stunning waterfalls and visit a local hill tribe.
Small Change: Embark on a jungle adventure with the Karen hill tribe, where you'll explore their culture, hike through lush landscapes, and visit a jungle temple.
Day 16
RAFTING & NIGHTLIFE - CHIANG MAI
We continue our trek before bamboo river rafting our way back home! You’ll arrive back to your guesthouse and relax or head out to see more of Chiang Mai’s nightlife.
Day 17
ELEPHANT SANCTUARY - CHIANG MAI
Today we'll visit a sanctuary focused on protecting elephants rescued from hard lives. We’ll learn about their history and important connection to rural communities, and see them interact in their natural environment.
Small Change: Experience ethical elephant encounters at a sanctuary where animal welfare is a top priority.
Day 18
FLY TO HANOI - HANOI
Your Vietnam Group Leader will meet you at the airport.
Day 19
DISCOVER HANOI - HANOI
Enjoy a walking and rickshaw tour of the city. We’ll then head out for dinner and a night out!
Day 20
HA LONG BAY - HA LONG BAY
From Hanoi we’ll travel to Ha Long Bay, where we’ll cruise the emerald green waters surrounded by limestone mountains, feeling like we’re not quite on this planet. The secret caves and coves will prove too much to resist, so we’ll jump into kayaks to explore further before settling down for the evening on our overnight boat.
Day 21
NINH BINH HOMESTAY - NINH BINH
Today we head south to the beautiful Ninh Binh, a landscape of rice paddies and limestone mountains. Check in to our unique local homestay, relaxing in our private riverside bungalows.
Day 22
EXPLORE NINH BINH - NINH BINH
Today we’ll take a bike ride through the rice paddies, then a local row boat along the river. We’ll then tackle the iconic Dragon Mountain Viewpoint before boarding the overnight train south.
Day 23
HOI AN
Arrive in Hoi An. Chill out, go shopping or even get some clothes made! This evening we'll experience the iconic lantern boats.
Day 24
BASKET BOAT FISHING - HOI AN
Try your hand at some crab fishing! We’ll then experience a traditional Vietnamese cooking class.
Day 25
LANTERN MAKING CLASS & BEACH DAY - HOI AN
This morning we’ll learn how to make lanterns. We’ll then enjoy a chilled day at a beach club. We’ll have dinner and drinks by the sea!
Day 26
HO CHI MINH CITY
Today we catch a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City and arrive early afternoon. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and explore the city.
Day 27
MEKONG DELTA
We’ll explore the incredibly lush green beauty of the Mekong Delta, learn first-hand how the locals live, visit local villages and experience daily life on the Mekong. We then stay overnight in the Delta.
Small Change: Join a meaningful language exchange with local teacher Daisy and her students, discover the art of traditional Mekong basket weaving with a local artisan, join a heartfelt tea party with Mr. Hai and his family.
Day 28
CU CHI TUNNELS - HO CHI MINH CITY
Today we discover the Cu Chi Tunnels, a fascinating network of underground tunnels used as supply routes, hideouts and living quarters during the Vietnam War. We’ll arrive back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon before heading out for our farewell dinner and party!
Day 29
CHECK OUT - HO CHI MINH CITY
Your amazing 29 day adventure finishes today. We’ll help you plan and organise your onward travel.
