Bled is located in the north-western corner of Slovenia near the border of Austria and Italy, right on the edge of Triglav National Park and the Julian Alps. It’s a perfect playground for outdoor activities and adventures with a unique diversity of crystal clear rivers, lakes and canyons surrounded by lush green mountains. Bled town is a great starting point for numerous explorations of the great outdoors that are within the reach of a few minutes' drive from the town.

Horse riding tour departs from our 3glav Adventures office, located in the very center of Bled, right opposite main Post office. Meeting location is within a reach of 5-10 minutes walking distance from pretty much most accommodation options in Bled town:

Horse riding tour departs at designated time and it’s recommended to be at meeting point no earlier than 5 minutes before departure and no later than exact departure time.

We run nice cross-country horseback riding trips in the area of Bled - we start from our office located in the very center of Bled and take you to farm/country style stables (nothing fancy) located 10-15 minutes drive away on the countryside under the beautiful Karavanke mountain range.

Given the fact, that our horse stables are located around amazing countryside and are operated by educated horse riding instructor and trainer Dušan and all other genuine countryside farmers offer our guests pristine local countryside/village experience including all people involved around the horse stables and tour. Meaning that these people are genuine and friendly, but sometimes not as communicative and excessively overwhelming-friendly what is nowadays expected by modern traveler standards, they are just original.

You might also encounter unleashed young German Shepherd Jack around the horse stables or even an orphan brown bear Jaka who was found very young without his bear mom and rescued from wilderness where he wouldn’t survive. And is now under protection and care of nearby mountain hut where we pass while riding. We have agreement with our horse instructor Dušan and his team not to stop at the bear, but sometimes they do. :)

All you need for this horse riding trip are long pants/trousers (jeans are best) and sporty shoes or hiking boots and maybe a jacket in case it gets a bit colder. We provide helmets.
