Itinerary

Solway Voyager (Tallship Adventure)

Day 1

Meet your crew at Coral Sea Marina at 8:00 am for a headcount. Depart the marina at 8:30 am. Feeling energised? Help hoist the sails! Otherwise, sit back and relax as you float across the Whitsunday Passage to Whitsunday Island, finding anchorage at Tongue Bay. Take a guided bush walk to Hill Inlet Lookout to view the swirling sands and to Whitehaven Beach. You will then have a few hours to explore the stunning Whitehaven Beach. In the afternoon, you’ll sail north to another island, where you’ll anchor just before sunset. After dinner, grab a drink and enjoy the evening.

Day 2

Early rise for breakfast, then kit up with snorkelling gear, ready to jump over the fringing coral reefs to see the marine life. Morning tea will be served before heading to another location for a swim,snorkel or beach stop. Cruise to Langford Island; enjoy the short walk to the lookout and the panoramic view of Hayman Island. Visit the Sandspit and look for turtles, fish, and rays swimming in the shallows. Enjoy the sunset of the water

Day 3

Enjoy another morning swim and snorkelling session before we head to Nara Inlet and visit the Ngaro Rock Art. Afterwards, take the opportunity to rope swing. Enjoy some time on deck before we begin our sail home to Airlie Beach
