After an introduction at PIC, where students learn about the structure of sex work and the challenges sex workers face, they go on a guided walk through the area to see the things they’ve just learned about. A sex worker shares their personal account of life in the neighborhood and their perspective on working in a society where sex work is legalized and regulated. This tour offers a rare insight into the real world behind Amsterdam’s tourist streets and is a unique opportunity to challenge anti-prostitution narratives and gain an authentic understanding of the topic.
