Choose between a lovely and relaxed hostel or a 3* hotel, both located in a peaceful part of Bled a few steps away from the town centre, the lake and our office. At the hostel you will be staying in a dorm room with shared facilities, and at the hotel in an ensuite single or twin/double room.
2 nights during trekking are spent in mountain huts with shared dorm type accommodation. Basic bed sheets in the huts are provided.
Getting to Bled
From Ljubljana Airport: The airport is around 40 km from Bled. There are regular public buses to Bled running every hour (5 min past the hour). The bus costs approximately 5 EUR one way and takes 30 min.
From Ljubljana City Centre: Our capital Ljubljana is located around 55 km from Bled which is about 1 hour and 20 minutes away by bus. Buses from the main bus station run every hour (on the full hour) and cost approximately 7 EUR one way.
From Bled Train Station: The train station is about 4 km from Bled town and all international train lines to Slovenia stop there. From the train station you can catch a bus to Bled town. The bus station is just across the street from Lesce-Bled train station and the buses run every 30 min. The ticket costs approximately 2 EUR one way, and you can buy one from the driver.
Getting to/from Activities
Return transfer from Bled is included. We will pick you up in front of your accommodation in Bled.
Half board in the mountain huts (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners) is included. Recharge your energies with a simple menus of traditional Slovenian mountaineering food including for example cold plates of bread, cheese and meat or a couple of hot dishes like jota, ričet, žganci, apple strudel or pancakes. Bringing snacks such as energy bars, trail food, dried fruits and water for your day hikes is recommended.
What to Bring
Hiking shoes (high hiking boots recommended)
Waterproof jacket and trousers in case of colder, windy or rainy weather
Backpack (approx. 30L)
Sun glasses, hat and sunscreen (high factor)
Light sleeping bag or a sleeping sheet
Hiking poles (if you usually use them for hiking)

Most of the huts accept cash only
Not suitable for pregnant women
