In Sarajevo we stay in the Old Town at Pension Kandilj. Kandilj is a newly built accommodation, fully modern while maintaining the Eastern spirit and allowing guests to experience traditional Bosnian atmosphere. All rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with TV, direct phone line, broadband internet, bathroom and toilet.
Sutjeska National Park
In Sutjeska National Park we use Hotel Mladost. This hotel has recently been reconstructed and provides very basic but comfortable accommodation. Rooms are private, with en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi and the usual modern comforts.
At Tara Rafting Camp we will stay at simple wooden bungalows next to the river where you will enjoy the sound of water and the campfire - and definitely have one of the best nights on your Balkan adventure! The bungalows are basic and relatively small with 2-3 beds and bedding. Toilets and showers are shared.
Transportation (8+1 minivan or 20+1 minibus) is included during the entire trip except for airport arrival/departure transfers.
Breakfast across the Balkans usually consists of bread and pastries, dairy products such as yoghurt and cheese, cereal, eggs cooked in a variety of ways, smoked meats, honey, tea and coffee, milk and juices. Breakfasts will be a choice of a warm or cold set meal. Lunches will be picnics including bread, cheese, sausage, meat and vegetarian pate, salad, chocolate bars, cookies, trail mix, and coffee/tea. Lunch and dinner at the Tara Rafting Camp are 3 courses and include soup, a selection of traditionally prepared meat and/or grilled local trout, vegetables and a dessert. Drinks are only included at breakfast.
Please inform us in advance in case you have special dietary requirements, and we'll do our best to cater for you.
