Itinerary

Today, meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel and take the road to Jaipur (280kms, about 6h drive).
Arrive in Jaipur by late afternoon and drop-off at your hotel. Check-in with the evening at leisure to explore the surrounding on your own.

After a tasty breakfast, meet your local English-speaking guide in the lobby of your hotel.
The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is color-washed pink – the color of hospitality in Rajput tradition. Built in 1772 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur displays a remarkable harmony in architectural splendor.

Today you will visit Jaipur's most iconic landmarks, including the Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, and the Jantar-Mantar Observatory. You will be dropped off at the train station to board your overnight train to Jaipur.

Upon your arrival in Bikaner, meet your driver for a quick transfer to your hotel. Check-in upon room availability. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the grandeur of the Junagarh Fort and gain insight into the local culture with a visit to a nearby camel breeding farm.

After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel who will drive you to your next destination: Jaisalmer (330kms, about 6h drive).
Check-in on arrival at your tented camp for the night in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. A visit to Jaisalmer is incomplete without a ride on a camel and of course, the view of the city during sunset. You will be driven to the desert and enjoy a camel ride in the sand dunes and watch the sun slowly disappearing in the sand during sunset.

Return to your tented camp just in time to assist to a live dance performance while enjoying a tasty dinner.

After a local breakfast served by the tented camp, we drive back Jaisalmer City and check-in at your accommodation. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to either recover from your night in the desert, or explore the surroundings on your own.

After breakfast, meet your driver in the lobby and transfer to Jaisalmer Railway Station where you will board a train your next destination: the ancient city of Jodhpur.
On arrival at Jodhpur Railway Station, meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel. Check-in at your hotel upon arrival with the rest of the day at your own leisure. Feel free to explore the city and its surroundings!

A major trade center of the 16th century AD, the fortress city of Jodhpur is now the second-largest city of Rajasthan. While the graceful palaces, forts and temples strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur - exquisite handicrafts, folk dances, music and the brightly attired people lend a romantic aura to the city. It was here that the popularly worn baggy – tight, horse-riding trousers – ??Jodhpurs' took their name.

After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and follow him/her for a full day of sightseeing.

We make our first stop at the impressive Umaid Bhawan Palace, followed by Jaswant Thada, Mehrangarh Fort and an excursion to the Mandore Gardens. The massive 15th century Mehrangarh Fort looms on the tops of a rocky hill. Expect to be back to your hotel by mid-afternoon with some free time to continue the exploration on your own.

After breakfast, meet your driver and head towards the city of Pushkar (220kms, about 5h drive). Check-in on arrival and free time to explore the city and its surroundings on your own. Pushkar lies along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake on the edge of the desert,??surrounded by hills. Quite a scenic environment!

After breakfast, meet your driver and take the long road towards Agra (400kms, about 7.5h drive). On the way we will make a stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Once the capital of the mighty Mughals, this is now a bustling small market catering to the tourists.

Continue to Agra and check-in on arrival in the late afternoon. Evening at your own leisure.

Meet with your local guide early this morning, before breakfast (05:30-06:00). We will head straight to the magnificent Taj Mahal for a sunrise visit. Perfect colors for the best photos, and much less crowded overall. You can't beat an early morning visit!

Return to your hotel for breakfast, followed by check-out. Your driver will be waiting for you in the lobby for a transfer back to Delhi.
