Today, you'll embark on an exciting tour of Cartagena city, learning about its history and visiting its main highlights.
Cartagena City Tour (B)
Today you will explore the city! We will pick you up at your accommodation between 13:20 and 14:00 as the tour is scheduled from 14:30 to 18:00hrs. During your city tour you can enjoy the main tourist attractions in Cartagena which is also known as the "Pearl of the Caribbean" and learn all about it from a local expert guide. It is the main destination for culture and history. In 1984 Cartagena was declared a World Culture Heritage by UNESCO. The city combines an impressive, modern and colonial architecture created by the Spanish. It preserves the past and the memories of the struggles of that time. You will also have the opportunity to visit two monuments which are of great historical value outside the old city. San Felipe de Barajas is a fortress in order to defend the city and the church of San Pedro Claver.
Today, you'll catch a bus to the beautiful coastal town of Santa Marta.
Transfer to Santa Marta (B)
After your check-out, please make your own way to the bus station and catch your ride to Santa Marta, the ticket bus is included. Once you arrive, you'll have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Transfer in the morning to Neguanje Bay in Tayrona National Park. From here, you'll spend the day on the beach in Playa Cristal.
Visit to Playa Cristal (B)
Today you will have to wake up early since your pick-up service is scheduled at 06:30. Once you get to Tayrona National Park, you will enter Neguanje Bay where you will take a boat to Playa Cristal where you will spend the day on the beach. You will be back in Santa Marta at approximately 17:00hrs.
