Bako National Park
Despite being smaller in size compared to other national parks in Malaysia, Bako National Park isn’t any less magnificent, with a diverse range of ecosystems found in a variety of different types of forest, from the marshy swamps to the denser jungles and sandy shores with adjacent oceans. The park is home to many unique animals with the predominant one being the famous Proboscis Monkey, which can be spotted when joining one of the many exciting hikes available in the park. Enjoy the cooling waters at the wonderfully secluded Telok Assam beach which offers as a perfect relaxation stop after a day out in the woods.
