If you are interested in visiting a geothermal plant, you have the opportunity to visit one approx. two hours’ drive from Florence.
The visit includes a film about geothermal power in English, then you go to their museum, and finally you will drive a short distance to a no longer exploited drilling, where the fierce steam jet will be opened.
Duration of the visit: 2 to 2 ½ hours.
This visit is primarily suited for groups interested in physics or the like.
For this visit, the group must consist of at least 20 people.
The price is reservation fee per person.
Entrance and local guide fee (to be paid on site): EUR 5 per person.
A bus must be rented for this visit – price available upon request.
