The city of Hainburg is definitely worth a visit. The old medieval city is still surrounded by city walls and towers that served as a fortress and defended the western culture against attacks from the east and south-east for many years. Today, there are still many well-preserved houses and especially the buildings at Hauptplatz are indescribably beautiful. Drive along the mountain road to Braunsberg where you can enjoy a view over the area and all the way to Bratislava.
