Spend from 3 to 8 awesome days learning to surf and enjoying the beach lifestyle, it’s a perfect way to start your surfing career. Get off the beaten track and head to our secret surf location of Spot X, a place where everyone is there to enjoy the surf and beach lifestyle.

Spot X Surf is nestled right along the east coast. It's what we like to call the 'ultimate beachfront' since you can see the ocean from pretty much every one of our accommodation options and it might take you 1 minute to walk to the beach if you're a slow walker. It's the perfect place to learn to surf, chill out, make new friends, hang by the campfire and explore the beautiful surrounds where you'll see kangaroos, whales, dolphins and maybe even find some cool rock pools to swim in. Drop in on your way up or down the east coast and hang out with us for a few days in our natural paradise!

Itinerary

Breakfast starts at 07:00 and is available until about 09:00. Surf lessons start daily around 07:30 and run for 2 hours, but may vary depending on groups. Lunch time is midday to 13:00. Free afternoon activities vary from day to day but can include beach volleyball, cricket, football and slip n slide. You can also relax in a hammock, sunbathe or watch a movie in our tv room.

Optional extra activities are also available throughout the afternoon depending on conditions and tides which can include ocean rafting, kayaking or kangaroo golf (this is where we visit the local driving range that has a resident population of 400 wild kangaroos). It’s kind of crazy as they don’t move and just hang out doing what roos do. Bring the camera as you can get up close and personal. You can also grab a beer from the club house and we do a few prizes for the best shots). 18:00 to 20:00 Happy Hour BYO and dinner leading into our camp fires and nightly entertainment.

Somewhere north of Coffs Harbour and south of Byron Bay is our secret surf camp Spot X. A place totally devoted to the surf lifestyle. Located in a National Marine Park, Spot X provides a unique opportunity to spend time in one of Australia's most beautiful coastal areas. Long days in the sun and waves leading to memorable nights around the camp fire, Spot X is truly a place you don't want to miss. Great food, awesome staff and comfortable clean shared dorm or tipi accommodation.

For your comfort: Spot X has all the facilities including laundry, cooking area, a shop for all your basic necessities, an entertainment area with internet access, tour desk, TV & DVD, a kick-ass sound system, hammocks, volleyball court.

The number of nights included corresponds to the length of stay so either 4, 5, or 6!

None included. You must take care of your own transportation to the surf camp or to Woolgoolga bus stop where we can pick you up! (This shuttle is free).

Breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Vegetarians, vegans, gluten or lactose intolerance - no worries.
